This project started when I was approached by Chef Alycn Hart and Lavender Farmer Monica Cody

( @farmstead1868). They wanted to involve in me a farm to table dinner, called "At Her Table". This event involved all women owned enterprises. The farm , the chef, the meat, the cheese and the wine all  created or brought by women owned businesses. It was truly a spectacular and heart warming event. Monica wanted each guest to leave the table with a gift and thus , "vases for the table ' was born.

The idea was that the vases would each be different in form but with the same glaze , there was both a unity  to the table and individuality to the experience.

Monica filled each vase with lavender and flowers , it was not only beautiful,  but an experience for all the senses. 

 

The vases are approx 4-5" high and vary in width. It is a small bud vase. I am happy to work with you on a particular item that you would like to give your guest as a parting gift and rememberence of your event. Whether it be a wedding, an anniversary , or a farm to table dinner.
